Michelle & Franklin.

6.28.2011

Get the tissues ready! This wedding was so beautiful and bursting with love and emotion. Franklin and Michelle met 10 years ago when they were in high school and have been together ever since. It is such a rare thing to find a couple who has experience so much of life together at such a young age. Through being around them on their wedding day, hearing their vows and seeing them interact there is no doubt in my mind that Michelle and Franklin were made for one another. Their wedding was the epitome of romance. We started the day at the Empire Hotel before making our way over to central park for their first look. Since they met in high school, Michelle and Franklin spent a lot of the first few years of their relationship in the park. Still living with their parents, it was their place of escape. It was so special to be able to experience a part of their wedding in a place that was such a big part of their relationship. I have never heard vows like what Franklin spoke to Michelle. No notes, no paper to read from. Just a straight from the heart speech about what she means to him. Michelle's were precious as well - promising to love Franklin all the way past infinity. Their reception was filled with speeches (9 in total I think!) from the people closest to them. As if it wasn't clear already, through all of their spoken words the impact that Michelle and Franklin's love has on the people around them was increasingly evident. Franklin and Michelle I wish you all the best!

ps: Franklin and Michelle also had photographers from the west coast. Ryan and Joelle from FS Photography were awesome! Make sure to check out their work.
